Our client, Thermo Fisher Scientific is the world leader in serving science and they are looking for a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER.



Position Summary:



- Responsible for installation, Maintenance and Repair of Process Instruments Division (PID) systems.

- Demonstration of Instrument Specifications and customers instruction on operation and maintenance

- Perform all necessary mechanical, electronic und basic applications service and repair

- Technical and basic applications support of customers

- Sales Support activities as required

- Support of all works related to the further development of the service organisation like preparation of quality reports and technical documentation.

- Active selling of service products like contracts and Upgrades.



Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:



• Professional background in Electronics/Engineering or related subjects. Electronics or Mechanical Technical (High) school degree.

• Good Product Knowledge of the TMO Products of the BU

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work across all levels, functions and regions

• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities

• Multicultural management experience is advantageous

• Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills

• Driving License

• Willingness to travel mainly within Europe/European Territory. For meetings, international travelling including the US is required.

• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written

• Additional Language skills is a positive asset

• PC skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a technical service function.
